Rules and Regulations

 

Elocution Competition

  • The topic of the elocution competition is “Fire: Friend or Foe?”
  • Medium of elocution is ENGLISH language only.
  • Time limit for each participant is 5 minutes only; a bell will ring at 3 minute to notify the candidate that last 2 minutes are left-out.
  • In case more time is taken by the participant who will be reflected negatively in the overall points.
  • College students and School students will be assessed distinctly by separate panel of judges.
  • The decision of the judges as regards the result of the competition will be the final and binding.
  • Marks may be awarded as per the following criteria:

Quiz Competition

  • Each question is compulsory and carries 1 mark.
  • Tick mark (✓) the correct answer.
  • In case of any multiple ticks, the answer will not be considered.

 

Poster Competition

  • All posters must be hand drawn and relevant to the topic as suggested.
  • Poster should be prepared by an individual, group work is not permitted. Multiple entries on the name of one candidate are also not permitted.
  • Poster can be made with the use of pencils, crayon colours, water colours or sketch pens.
  • The poster must be made on white coloured sheet. Size of the poster must be A4 (8.27” x 11.69”).
  • Participant’s full name, standard or year of study and name of the school/college to be clearly mentioned.
  • Submission of identical images from the internet or any other sources will lead to disqualification.
  • Selected posters will be published on the GSFC University website and various social media platforms.
  • The decision of the judges as regards to the result of the competition will be the final and binding.
